Minion Lil Jenni’s week long quest to maul your memories of the NeverEnding Story continue with her edible tribute to the single saddest scene in the movie.
Artax Mud Pie

20 Oreo Cookies
1/ 4 cup Butter, Melted
1 can Sweetened, Condensed Milk
2 Bananas, ripe / sliced
Juice of 1 lemon
2 cups Heavy Cream
1/ 4 cup Powdered Sugar
2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
2 tbsp Coffee
Prepare the toffee first by placing the unopened can of condensed milk into a pot and cover with water.

Boil the water for at least 2 hours and then allow to cool before opening
Crumb the Oreo cookies in a food processor //coffee grinder works in a pinch too
Mix crumbs with butter and mix thoroughly, set aside
Slice banana’s in ¼ inch thick slices and mix lightly with lemon juice, set aside
In a mixing bowl whip the cream, icing sugar, cocoa powder and coffee until soft peaks form
Prepare pie by pressing the Oreo crumbs onto the bottom of pie pan.
Layer the banana slices onto the pie.
Carefully open condensed milk can and pour toffee over bananas, retain about two tablespoons for decorating the top of pie
Pour out the whipped topping over the toffee
Drizzle last part of toffee over the top of pie
Serve slice and enjoy while you cry bitter bitter tears into your mud pie in Artax’s honor
