Edible Art: Jet’s “Special” Beef with Bell Peppers
It’s “special” because the only beef is in the broth. That’s what happens when you blow all your cash fixing damaged equipment.
Jet’s “Special” Beef With Bell Peppers
1 yellow onion, peeled and sliced
1 green bell pepper, seeded and sliced
1 cup Shiitake mushrooms, sliced
½ lb fresh green beans
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup beef broth
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp vegetable oil
½ tsp sesame oil
Mix your soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
Heat your wok until it’s as hot as Faye Valentine.
Add the vegetable oil and swirl until it coats the entire pan.
Add the onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, green beans, and garlic.
Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the sauce.
Cook for 1 more minute.
Serve with hot rice and steaming indignation.
