Edible Art: Qui Gon’s Gin Fizz
Impress the Jedi lurking about Mos Eisley with a drink that will make them think you juiced Yoda.
Qui-Gon’s Gin Fizz
- 1 shot gin
- 2 inches fresh cucumber
- 1 fresh mint leaf
- ½ lime
- 1 tsp simple syrup
- ½ cup ice
- 2 drops green food coloring
- ginger ale
Use your lightsaber to slice off a two inch hunk of fresh cucumber. Cut it into quarters and drop it into a cocktail shaker.
Add the fresh mint leaf and ¼ of a lime.
Muddle the greens together until they look like a Dagoba swamp.
Add the gin, simple syrup, food coloring, and ice.
Shake like your ship is about to break apart in a mine field.
Strain the contents into a martini glass.
Top with ginger ale and garnish with the remaining quarter lime wedge.
