Edible Art: Jurassic Dinosaur Eggs

Kitchen Overlord - Jurassic Dinosaur Eggs Illustrated Recipe

Just the thing to build up your strength before you find yourself on the run from semi-sentient, door opening velociraptors.

Jurassic Dinosaur Eggs

6 hard boiled eggs, peeled
2 onions, sliced
2 green chiles, seeded and sliced
1 green bell pepper, seeded and sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp coriander
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup water

Obtain dinosaur DNA from a blood gorged mosquito trapped in amber.

Stand back. I’m going to try science!

Create a nest for your growing dinosaurs by cutting the onions, bell pepper, and green chiles into equal sized slices.

While the eggs incubate, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the garlic, ginger, garam masala, cumin, coriander, and salt.

Fry the spices for 3-4 minutes.

Add the sliced peppers and onions.

Mix well and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently.

Turn the heat down to medium-low. Add the hard boiled eggs and water.

Mix well, cover, and let cook for another 5-6 minutes.

Make a nest by spooning the pepper and onion mix into a bowl. Nestle the eggs safely inside.

For extra authenticity, serve in the base of a hollowed out Barbasol can.
